Privacy Policy: Protection of Your Personal Data

Touring Lanzarote, headquartered at Ctra. Valldemossa km 7.4, Parc Bit, Edificio Disset pl 2 L C11 – 07120 Palma de Mallorca

At Touring Lanzarote, we understand that earning and maintaining your trust is central to our business, and we take the protection of your privacy very seriously.

Information you provide to us on our website, via email, or through our partners and distribution providers will be used and collected as personal information, which Touring Lanzarote will protect. This does not extend to third-party practices, information, or sites (including distribution partners, travel providers, or any other linked site). By downloading, using, accessing our sites, or providing us with information, you acknowledge and accept the terms of this Privacy Policy.

We collaborate with affiliate partners who distribute our products and services via their own websites. We typically host product information and affiliate booking pages, and handle payment and credit card processing. We also work with distributors who manage accommodation, purchase, and payment for our products and services.

WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

Typically, to book our products or services, you must provide personal information such as your name, address, email, phone number, credit card, and other ID data. Without this, we cannot confirm or complete your reservation.

When you register with Touring Lanzarote, we request basic information like name and email; and optional details, such as subscription preferences. Logging in via Facebook may allow us to collect data you’ve chosen to share—e.g. email, username, profile picture, friend list, and other personal information.

When you visit Touring Lanzarote or affiliate sites we host, our web server automatically logs your IP address (assigned by your ISP), which cannot personally identify you. To help assess site usage and deliver relevant communications, we also track searches and bookings. For example, frequent visits to Paris and London may lead us to send you special offers for those destinations. If you're subscribed to our email communications (newsletters, alerts), you must provide personal data like name, email, and country of residence.

Occasionally, we might request additional demographic information (e.g. country, gender, age, travel habits). We also use cookies (explained below) to gather data about site performance and usage.

You may contribute content—comments, photos, profile updates, ratings—which may be stored, shown to other users, or used for promotion. Be aware: if you include personal information in your content, it becomes available for others to view and use. We aren't liable for personal details you choose to share in your contributions.

HOW DO WE USE AND DISCLOSE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

You will have choices regarding how we use or disclose your information for marketing. Logging in via Facebook may let us show you shares from your Facebook friends (e.g. comments, photos, tours). Keep in mind your friends may share info about you via Facebook—review your Facebook privacy settings to manage this.

You may also access third-party social media sites (e.g. Facebook, Twitter) via Touring Lanzarote. Any information you share then is governed by their privacy policy. We share some personal data with service partners (e.g. travel operators) directly involved in your purchase. We provide only your name and local contact info (hotel name, phone, email). We do not provide any other personal data. If you share data directly with service partners, check their privacy policy to understand their data use. We also share personal data with third parties providing us analytic and marketing services, under confidentiality obligations, and with other marketing partners.

We engage online marketing partners to manage and optimize our online presence and communications. We use web beacons and cookies via these partners to measure ad effectiveness and site usage—data helps us understand which pages and products interest visitors. We may use or disclose personal info (a) as required by law (including outside your country), (b) to meet legal processes, (c) to respond to public authority requests, (d) to enforce terms, (e) to protect operations or affiliates, (f) to protect rights, privacy, safety, or property of ours or others, or (g) to mitigate assets or harm. We may use other information for other purposes. If we mix additional data with personal data, the combined data is treated as personal information.

We respect and strive to process your personal data appropriately and safeguard your interests when working with tourism providers. We assume the data you provide is true and voluntary. By booking or making a claim—and per Art. 34.e of LOPD—you implicitly consent to data transfer to recipients under stated terms.

OUR DISTRIBUTORS & PARTNERS

Our products are sold through partners and distributors. They may have different privacy policies. Some tours or partners may require you to provide personal or additional info (e.g. health data) which may not be requested by us. Please review their privacy policy.

Some partners operate in regions without data protection laws. We encourage them to adopt similar privacy policies, but cannot enforce it. If you believe your data isn't properly protected, please notify us. We may take action (including terminating relationships) to prevent future issues.

OUR SECURITY & STORAGE PRACTICES

We strive to maintain data integrity and security. We use standard encryption when receiving or transferring data. When you send data online, an HTTPS (SSL-secure) session is opened. We store data in secure environments and have physical security measures. However, no transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot promise absolute protection. Touring Lanzarote is not liable for unauthorized access. If you detect a security issue, please report it. We will investigate and inform you of corrective actions. We may also need to notify authorities, including the police.

CHANGES TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY

As our business evolves, we may review this policy periodically. We reserve the right to change it—changes will be published on our site.
